Free Facebook plugin given to dealers by Pinewood as prices held again

12 Dec 2011

A free Facebook plug-in that enables dealers to easily list used car stock on the social networking site is being given by Pinewood to its customers.

The dealer management software specialist has also announced that it is once again holding the price of its software, charged on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Neville Briggs, managing director, explained: "The conditions under which dealers are operating remain extremely difficult and our attitude is that we should be working with them to help them get the most out of the opportunities they have.

"Giving away the new Facebook plug-in and holding our prices once again is our way of doing this, and continues a policy of increasing the value that we provide to our DMS customers that we have maintained since the start of the recession."

The free Facebook plug-in can be added to each dealer’s company Facebook fan page so that their social audience are able to easily view used vehicle stock, with all inbound enquiries added instantly into Pinewood’s Pinnacle DMS.

Briggs continued: "We have added at least half a dozen new tools to Pinnacle free of charge in the last couple of years, ranging from CSI Trend Reporting to Spend Mapping. All of these have proven to help dealers improve their margins and local market competitiveness."
