Pinewood can now add Volvo to its long list of manufacturer approvals following official sign off of its Pinnacle dealer management system by Volvo Car UK.
Pinewood managing director Neville Briggs said: "We're very pleased to gain Volvo approval. The endorsement process was rigorous and we have worked very hard with Volvo and the pilot retailers to ensure our integration will create genuine opportunities for process improvement and a high user adoption.
"Pinnacle now provides our Volvo customers with full integration into Volvo systems including Menu pricing (GPSS), Labour operations (VSTG), Parts Stock Management (LDC & DSP), Parts EPC (VIDA), Volvo vehicle load file, Warranty management including contributions and SBI, Service notifications, Vehicle pricelist and Composite production."
Volvo has a particularly comprehensive range of process integrations, designed to reduce operating cost whilst improving process and enhancing the customer experience.
"Combining this comprehensive level of integration with the flexible method of delivery and system features that Pinnacle can offer, means there is a compelling argument for Volvo dealers to be talking to us about their future DMS plans."
Pinewood's ongoing commitment to Volvo and its retailers is best described as a guarantee to constantly and relentlessly improve the integration of Pinnacle into current and future Volvo systems. This commitment will ensure both the Retailer and Customer will benefit from better process and cost reduction.
Pinewood already holds certification for Vauxhall and approvals from motor manufacturers including Peugeot, Saab, Land Rover, Jaguar, Ford, Hyundai, Citroen, Suzuki, Mitsubishi and Honda.
