Pinewood has finalised comprehensive integration of its Pinnacle dealer management system into Renault's dealer IT platform, following several months of manufacturer collaboration.
This latest Pinnacle integration covers 10 areas where the DMS can now interface directly with Renault's own IT systems - providing massive opportunities for time saving and reduced administration costs for dealers.
The integration covers: the Renault PGCS warranty process, the EDR file, P@rts Integration, SAR file, the workshop RTE approval process, Stock Order Transmissions, Parts Price Update, Dialogys, Minute Reporting and Key Reader.
Managing director Neville Briggs said: "This latest round of integrations makes Pinnacle extremely attractive to Renault dealers. Certainly, they provide an environment where there is a seamless level of integration between the DMS and a wide variety of the manufacturer's IT systems.
Our commitment to Renault and its retailer will ensure both the retailer and end customer benefits from an enhanced administrative process.
We have already had a number of enquiries from dealers interested in reviewing the integration Pinnacle can offer and we believe that there will be other parties keen to take advantage of the improved efficiencies our system can provide."
Pinewood already holds motor manufacturer certification for Vauxhall and Saab and approvals from Peugeot, Saab, Land Rover, Jaguar, Ford, Hyundai, Citroen, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Honda and Volvo.
