Dozen dealers join new Pinewood Partner forum for Pinnacle

27 June 2005

Twelve major dealers representing many different franchises have joined the new Pinewood Pinnacle Partner forum started this month by the leading dealer management systems provider.

The forum will provide a platform where users of Pinewood’s Pinnacle DMS can meet and provide feedback on how they would like to see the system developed in the future, as well as swapping best practice ideas.

Each partner will receive a fast path to Pinnacle product enhancements and receive a package of incentives including free training days.

The new Pinnacle Partner forum will run alongside Pinewood's existing Partner programme for its older CARS DMS.

Pinewood sales manager, Geoff Miller, who will chair the forum, said: "As a company, we have grown substantially in recent years, and the number of Pinnacle users we now have means that a new, structured method of looking at customer feedback has become a necessity for us.

"This is not just a normal software industry user group. Instead, we are looking to build close relationships with our customers that will let us gain an intimate knowledge of their businesses and develop Pinnacle to meet their needs ever more closely.

"We have asked some of our most progressive and experienced dealer customers to become Pinewood Pinnacle Partners, and we are looking forward to sitting down with them and examining ways in which we can innovate with our systems in the future, as well as looking at more general dealership issues."
