Pinewood wins key Microsoft accreditation in recognition of dealer software expertise

A key accreditation from Microsoft has been won by dealer management systems specialist Pinewood in recognition of its expertise in DMS software.

 

The company has been awarded the Custom Development Solutions accreditation, which recognises a software company’s ability to write, implement and support products that use Microsoft technology and that meet the needs of a particular market sector - in this case, the retail automotive industry including both dealers and manufacturers.

 

For Pinewood’s customers, the accreditation means that they will be guaranteed access to the very latest Microsoft technology from a company recognised as a leader in its sector.

 

To gain Custom Development Solutions status, Pinewood has demonstrated its expertise in implementing custom applications and infrastructure as specific projects for customers. It has also had to provide detailed evidence of recognition in support of this work, as well as proving its future commitment through a series of investments such as continuing to support team members through Microsoft training programmes.

 

In return, Pinewood will now be given access to more advanced and detailed training resources, a much wider range of Microsoft software development tools that use the very latest technology, and can also use the Custom Development Solutions Competency logo in future marketing campaigns.

 

Pinewood has a longstanding relationship with Microsoft and in early 2006 attained Gold Partner status. This is only awarded to software companies that can prove a high level of competence for their people, processes and services.
