Nick Baldwin
DMS Support Team Leader
Started March 1993
I joined the support team in Bournemouth in 1993. With the growth of the company I was able to expand my experience which led to me being appointed senior support consultant, which was followed by a further promotion to support team leader. Pinewood then began operating in Birmingham, where I was given the opportunity to further increase my role and now I head the DMS support team, where I am happy to say that we all work together in order to meet the needs of our customers.

Product Quality Leader
Started December 1992
Initially working in a partner company I joined the Pinewood support team in 1999. I decided to make the move to the training and implementation team which was heavily involved in upgrading customers systems and ensuring all year 2000 compliances were met. In the year 2000 I accepted the role of a VB/ASP developer, from this I worked my way through to Project Manager and have recently been rewarded for my efforts with a promotion which has resulted in my latest role as Product Quality Leader for Pinewood Technologies.

After graduating from University in 2003, I wanted to find a career path that would be challenging as well as enjoyable. This search led me to the Pinewood Graduate Scheme. The initial six months of the scheme challenged my abilities but with the help of the team I was able to meet these demands and complete the project requirements that were set for me. The drive and determination I was able to show in getting the job done, led to the MD of Pinewood offering me the role of Account Manager looking after our largest retail customer. I am thriving in my new role which while at times is testing, the rewards and experience gained is invaluable.

Training and Implementation Consultant

After graduating from Sheffield Hallam University I joined Pinewood’s Graduate Scheme. I originally started work in the DMS support team, which gave me an in-depth knowledge of Pinewood’s products. I then moved to the Training and Implementation team which allowed me to extend my understanding and skill set further. My enthusiasm for the role and the company has meant that I have been given the chance to co-ordinate Pinewood’s first international project which is currently being undertaken in South Africa. Pinewood has encouraged me to mentor and support more recent graduates whilst working on my own management development.

Melvin Jeffers
Client Services Team Leader - cfc solutions
Started October 2005
I moved from my previous role in Pinewood to their partner company cfc solutions which is based at the same site. I moved over to cfc solutions in October 2005 where I head up the Client Services Team. I have over thirteen years experience of working within the automotive industry and have undertaken software support roles for the last 5 years. My Pinewood experience includes support roles on the Dealer Management System (DMS) to the Pendragon Motor Group. In my current role I lead a number of experienced Client Service Technicians to ensure we provide valued customer service and software support on all cfc solutions applications to our customer base.
 
Jon Davis
Lead Developer
Started June 2006
With one year’s development experience from a placement scheme and a degree in Computer Science I was looking for a challenging career as a .NET software developer. I joined Pinewood in June 2006 as a junior developer and thanks to the wealth of experience available from my peers and the support from the company I have quickly taken the role of Lead Developer for the CRM and Vehicle modules of our Pinnacle DMS software.

Pinewood's commitment to embracing new technologies and encouraging personal growth has allowed me to rapidly improve my technical skills and helped me grow into a key member of a successful team.
