Early Careers Recruiter

Pinewood Technologies is currently searching for an Early Careers Recruitment Advisor to join the team and help attract the best and brightest talent for our Early Careers vacancies.

Working within our Talent Management team, you will be responsible for the whole recruitment life cycle, from attraction through to offer. Pinewood is heavily invested in hiring and developing junior talent, so this role is crucial to the company’s growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership of our graduate and placement recruitment processes
  • Managing the full recruitment life cycle. This includes holding briefings with hiring managers, advertising the roles, sourcing candidates, organising assessment centres, and managing offers
  • Maintaining and developing effective relationships with universities, as well as planning and attending career fairs and other university-related events
  • Working closely with stakeholders across the business to understand their hiring needs, ensuring all interview processes are effective, and delivering the desired outcome
  • Screening all candidates and conducting phone, video, and in-person interviews
  • Providing a first-class experience to every candidate that applies

About you

This is a fast-paced and varied position, so you will need to think on your feet and use your initiative. The ideal candidate will be a natural people person, with an ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders across the business.

You will need:

  • Previous experience in recruitment, either in-house or agency/ RPO (minimum 1+ years)
  • Exceptional organisation skills with an ability to handle recruiting at volume
  • Excellent communication skills via phone, video, and face to face
  • A positive can-do attitude and prioritisation skills are a must
  • Experience in tech recruitment is advantageous but not essential
  • Educated to degree level
  • Full UK driving license

Trainee Sales Executive

Pinewood Technologies is currently searching for an ambitious and enthusiastic graduate to join the team and train to become a New Business Sales Executive. Working within a team of experienced sales professionals you will become responsible for sourcing and generating new business for Pinewood.

Through on-the-job training, you will gain a solid understanding of the Pinewood sales process and play a vital role in selling our award-winning software solution – Pinewood DMS.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Becoming an expert on the features and benefits of our DMS, so you can map them against the needs of our customers
  • Carrying out regular market research and building a solid understanding of the franchise car market share and trends
  • Managing our database to a high degree of accuracy- ensuring all data is cleansed and kept up to date
  • Assisting the team by identifying new business opportunities
  • As your skills develop you can also expect to join the team in visiting potential customers, delivering presentations, and preparing customer quotations

  • Experience working in a similar position, through an internship or placement year is desirable, but not essential

As a Business Graduate at Pinewood, you can expect to receive on-the-job training, mentoring throughout, and the exciting opportunity to develop your commercial experience.

Your career will begin as a Customer Support Consultant, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers are getting the most out of our industry-leading system, Pinewood DMS. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our clients with any training needs, guidance, and troubleshooting any issues they may face.

Alongside this, you will progress through the Pinewood Support Academy. Here you can expect to build your knowledge on the system, the automotive retail sector, and develop a broad range of skills to support your long-term career development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating with our customers via phone, email, and webchat
  • Providing a first-class customer experience, and ensuring all queries are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner
  • As your knowledge grows, help maintain our internal and external knowledge base

What can you expect?

The ideal person for this role will be a final year student or recent graduate, with an interest in working in the technology and/ or automotive industry. You will be highly motivated and have the ability to take initiative and work as part of a team.

You will also need:

  • An education to degree level in a Business or IT related subject – 2:1 or above
  • Previous experience in a customer service-related role would be desirable
  • To be a people person, with an ability to build working relationships with clients and stakeholders across the business
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to think on your feet
  • To be a team player and have the capability of working towards collective goals
  • A willingness to learn and deepen your knowledge of our enterprise-level system
  • Any knowledge in accounts is beneficial but not essential
  • A full driving licence, OR be working towards passing a driving test

Working hours are 37.5 hours per week on a three-shift rota (7am – 3:30pm / 9am – 5:30pm / 10:30am – 7pm). Occasional weekend and Bank holiday work is also expected on a rolling shift pattern.

Project Delivery Manager

We’re searching for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the team, helping to improve and expand our industry-leading software system, Pinewood DMS. We’re hiring Project Delivery Managers, whose role will include delivering new product features on time and to the highest quality.

Working within a team of PDMs and alongside software developers, technical leads, and product owners, you will play a vital role in the design, delivery, release, and continued aftercare of all product features.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Becoming an expert within your product area. You will build a solid understanding of the key features and benefits of the system – this involves understanding the needs of our customers, and mapping these against the product to create effective solutions
  • Working with Product Owners and Lead Developers to understand upcoming requirements, shape and define project scope, and prioritize timelines and tasks
  • Continually track milestones and project progress against the plan, and ensure internal stakeholders are aware of any important factors affecting features or release dates
  • Using feedback and telemetry to ensure the ongoing maintenance and quality of products
  • To promote close communication and collaboration between product and software development through project planning and grooming sessions
  • Providing documentation, release information, and videos to help promote and support the product

Customer Support (Sweden)

Pinewood is currently expanding its award-winning UK software business into Sweden. Following successful implementations with several dealer groups in the Nordics, Pinewood is looking to expand the team in Sweden to facilitate further growth.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, and motivated individuals to join the team to support this growth and help make this new business a success. We are currently looking to hire several Customer Support Consultants to ensure our customers are getting the most out of our industry-leading dealership management system- Pinewood DMS.

As a support consultant, you will assist our customers with basic training needs, guidance and help troubleshoot and diagnose any problems they encounter.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing an efficient support service to all customers through inbound phone calls, email, and webchat
  • Ensuring all customers are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner
  • Providing quick solutions where possible, logging issues into a ticketing system and escalating when needed
  • As your knowledge of the system grows, helping to maintain our internal knowledge base
