Pinewood Technologies is currently searching for its next generation of Full-Stack Software Developers!

We are currently looking for final-year students and recent graduates to join our software development program, starting in the Summer of 2024. Based at our office at Birmingham Business Park, you’ll be fully integrated into one of our talented development teams where you’ll have the opportunity to develop your technical and commercial experience.

  • We will kickstart the scheme with an initial settling-in period including a business induction and coding boot camp. You’ll get to understand Pinewood’s wider business, meet key people, and bring yourself up to speed on the technologies we use.

  • You’ll have a structured learning checklist to guide you through the graduate scheme which will assist you in monitoring your progress and ensure you are reaching your goals.

About You

We don’t expect our graduates to know everything. We look for those with a passion for technology and programming, a strong team ethic, and solid communication skills. If you are passionate about software development, and you have a genuine desire to learn and develop your skillset, we want to support you in achieving your goals.

We also look for:

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Development or something similar at a 2:1 or above.

  • An analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills.

  • A positive can-do attitude, as well as the motivation to work hard and build upon your current skillset.

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. There will be an element of remote working with this role, so having the ability to keep yourself motivated and on-track is essential.

  • Any previous commercial experience, either via a placement or internship, is beneficial but not a necessity

Pinewood Technologies PLC was established in 1981, with our head office based in Birmingham, UK. We offer a cloud-based Dealership Management System for retailers in the global automotive sector. Our DMS allows automotive retailers to work more efficiently and assists them with providing a high standard of customer service, resulting in higher profits.

Our system is also complemented by a range of integrated mobile apps which helps to further digitalise processes within the motor dealership. Our customers represent over 50 major automotive brands, with over 30,000 people using our DMS on a daily basis in the UK, the Nordics, South Africa, Asia Pacific, and various countries across Europe.
