Pinewood Technologies is currently searching for a hands-on Full Stack Software Developer to join the team and help create innovative software solutions for automotive retailers around the world.

Our award-winning product, Pinewood DMS, is an end-to-end cloud-based solution that helps automotive retailers streamline their processes, and work more efficiently.

As a Senior Software Developer at Pinewood, you will be responsible for working the full development life cycle from design through to release. We’re looking for an experienced individual who loves creating innovative web solutions and has a true passion for coding and web architecture.

What to Expect

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing our enterprise-level software system primarily using C#, .NET, Razor, Web API, SQL Server, as well as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise requirements.

  • Writing and maintaining high-quality, reusable, and efficient code.

  • Troubleshooting and debugging.

  • Taking responsibility for tasks assigned to you and leading these projects from a technical and delivery perspective.

  • Participating in regular grooming sessions and showcasing your work during reviews.

  • Leading and mentoring more junior developers, being responsible for their 1-2-1s, and supporting their career development

About You

The ideal person for this position will be an effective communicator and possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Microsoft development setting. You will need strong problem-solving skills and a genuine passion for creating web solutions and seeing their adoption by end-users.

You will also need experience in the following technical areas:

  • C#

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • .NET/ .NET Core

  • Database development- you will be comfortable writing queries, performance optimisation, table design, stored procedures, T-SQL

We also look for:

  • Azure DevOps/ TFS/ any source control provider

  • SQL Server

  • Visual Studio

  • Experience with Agile frameworks
